MY APPROACH TO THERAPY:
Integrative and Collaborative: I combine aspects of cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Client Centered Therapy. I use a variety of techniques in therapy, trying to find what will work best for you.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
After our first discussion we will set up our first session together at my office in beverly hills. I have chosen not to charge my clients for the first appointment.
After the first session:
upon the close of our initial session we will talk about what your needs are and availability if you do feel comfortable and decide that you want to move forward together. we can schedule a time to meet - weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
what if i feel it isn't working for me?:
well, first and foremost - we talk about it. by processing what is working and not working for our relationship we can decide whether or not it makes sense to stay together or refer you to another therapist.
how long does it take to feel like therapy is working?:
sometimes therapeutic connection happens immediately and sometimes it doesn't; our connection could take 1, 3, 5 or 10 sessions in order for trust to be established. it is up to you and your willingness to work together in discovering some of the underlying pain you may have.
